Hollywood Film Festival Unveils 2015 Lineup Featuring James Franco, Uzo Aduba
Under Parks' guidance, the festival transitioned toward socially relevant films anchored in causes and calls-to-action. Thanks to Beaudoin, the festival boasts international partnerships that complement its “See Good / Do Good / Feel Good” theme. Through their criteria, the lineup includes 20 Narrative Features, 27 Documentaries and 38 Shorts.

One of the documentaries is centered on the multi-faceted James Franco, entitled "F For Franco," which stars Franco, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Francisco J. Ricardo directed the film and Adrienne Chamberlin produced. The festival will serve as its world premiere.
Uzo Aduba's "Pearly Gates" -- a comedic musical about the desire to be commemorated -- will also be featured. "Pearly Gates" stars Aduba, Scott Grimes, Ileana Douglas and Bonnie Sommerville. Watch the trailer below.
The Eric Weber-directed "Outliving Emily" stars Thomas Mann, Zosia Mamet and Alexis Bledel in an unconventional plot. The film looks at the tumultuous marriage of Tim and Emily Hanratty over a period of 50 years, as portrayed by various actors.

Skateboarder Tony Hawk stars alongside Kelly Slater and Nyjah Huston in "The Search for Freedom," which tells the story of a cultural revolution grounded in embracing the moment and doing what makes us feel the most alive -- in this case, recreational activities like surfing, snowboarding, skiing and skateboarding. Jon Long served as director and producer.
Former Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am teams up with Homeboy Industries founder Father Greg Boyle for "East LA Interchange" -- a documentary that follows the evolution of Boyle Heights. Danny Trejo also stars in this Betsy Kalin-directed flick. Watch the trailer below.
Each day, the festival will honor one of its six Jury Prize winners at a special evening event for Best Documentary Feature, Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Short, Best Narrative Short and Emerging Filmmaker. On the last day, top honors for Best Social Impact Film will be awarded to the film that best exemplifies the festival’s "See Good / Do Good / Feel Good" mission statement.
