After packing up my camera, Christina (co-contributor to USC Campus Style) and I were on our way to get dinner when we saw this stylish gentlemen walk past us. Christina and I chased him down Trousdale, and although we may have shocked him a bit, he agreed to be featured. As fate would have it, Erik is a fashion connoisseur. Although he's only a junior, he is already working in the fashion industry and clearly on his way to making style history.

No single detail caught Christina's or my initial attention; it was his overall aesthetic that really drew us in. Erik’s boots paired with his side zipper sweatshirt and maroon pants work in unison to create the perfect fall outfit. As we spoke to Erik he gave us some amazing advice.

He told us he loves a good contrast (tight with baggy, vintage with new, simple with pattern etc,) and how important it is with style. As Erik said, “It is interesting when you can pair luxurious with worn out and vintage. Who says Chanel can’t be next to a no name?”
