Yes, Celebrities Bike, Walk, And Take The Bus

The following celebrities don’t need the sun to go out for a walk, go on a bike ride, or simply take the bus. They just do it, proudly.
Angelina Jolie
First on the list is of course actress and mother, Angelina Jolie. Whenever she is not filming another action-flick movie, directing, or attending an important meeting for her humanitarian work we can surely find Jolie with Brad Pitt and her family outdoors. The famous couple has been regularly spotted on bike excursions with their six children. Family activities consist of pedaling their bikes near Malibu or taking a stroll in New Orleans.

Robin Williams
Known for his comedic roles (Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, Night at the Museum), Robin Williams is actually a fan of professional road cycling. He is an avid cyclist himself and enjoys it so much he does not shy away from letting people know. Just last year Williams appeared on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” When Stewart asks Williams if he actually rides his bike around New York City, Williams happily said, “oh it’s wonderful, it’s the best way to get around. Asides from biking around the city, Williams has biked alongside none other than Lance Armstrong. If that doesn’t demonstrate Williams’ devotion to biking, when asked how many bikes he owns, the comedian replied, “too many to count.”

Vincent Kartheiser
“Mad Men” actor, Vincent Kartheiser is not your typical actor. When not filming in the Los Angeles set for the next episode of AMC’s “Mad Men,” Kartheiser is found among the crowd, taking mass transportation. A recent article by The New York Times follows Kartheiser on his journey in the Los Angeles bus and rail system. The actor expresses his preference between a car and a bus, “Instead of driving and being stressed out about traffic, you can work your scene, you can do your exercises or whatever on the bus. Everyone’s got their own deal.” Although he plays Pete Campbell, a cult figure on “Made Men,” Kartheiser is able to move freely around the city through public transportation. “I like that my life slows down when I go places…I have all these interactions with the human race and I can watch people living their life and not just in their car,” said Kartheiser. Those are some words of wisdom, well said Mr. Kartheiser.
So next time you find yourself on the bus, don’t be startled to see a celebrity sitting next to you. After all, they are just people.
