She has been all over the news lately, not just in the entertainment industry, but also in hard news stations like FOX and CNN. It was her risqué VMA performance that catapulted her into the headlines, but her provocative actions have only continued. The most recent news of Miley Cyrus' life is that she and Liam Hemsworth are officially broken up. The engagement was called off last week, which was confirmed by Hemsworth's representative.

All of the craziness started when Cyrus changed her image completely by getting a pixie cut and dressing punk rock and essentially growing out of her Hannah Montana phase. Now, I applaud her for trying to get away from the Hannah Montana look because she wants to grow up, but things have gone too far. It started with the hair, then the constant rumors of Hemsworth and her breaking up, and it has all spiraled down to her VMA performance and now, her "Wrecking Ball" music video.

The Onion predicted back in 2008 that Cyrus would disappear in 2013 because she was too involved in everything in the entertainment industry. It's happened to plenty of celebrities before, including Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears in this situation. The reporter in the video, who is referred to as Dr. Justin Canty from The Institute for Sustainable Cyrus Use, said she was being used by her fans too much and wouldn't have any value by 2013.

"Miley is a potent entertainment resource, but we are overusing her at unprecedented levels. She's on television, albums, toys, clothing. She has a sold out live concert series. If we don't act now, the down to earth Miley who likes text messaging with her friends and playing guitar in her bedroom will be wiped off the earth forever," Canty said.

The Onion News Network was so spot on in this segment. She is turning into a Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan because it seems as she is just off her rocker. She could end up in a situation like Amanda Bynes, where she starts lashing out at anyone and everyone and makes remarks towards them that just don't make sense. But it seems that Cyrus will have it worse because her father, Billy Ray Cyrus has been supporting her through all of this.

He didn't talk about how embarrassing or completely unnecessary the VMA performance was. Instead, he publicly stated that he supported it. I know parents are supposed to be supportive of their kids, but this is a situation where Billy Ray should have sat Miley down and told her to stop. He's just encouraging her actions by backing her up, and it doesn't seem like she's going to stop anytime soon.

Just a couple weeks ago, Cyrus posted her music video of "Wrecking Ball" on YouTube. It includes her swinging on a wrecking ball naked, licking a sledgehammer and provocatively dancing on the ball. All of this was completely unnecessary and didn't get any point across, except for the fact that she likes to be naked and that she is going downhill. The video has over 139 million views, so it's obvious people are still watching her and keeping up to date, but it's like a train wreck—you just can't stop watching.

I'm calling it now; sooner rather than later, she will hit rock bottom and we will watch her disappear until she is older. She just broke up with her fiancé of four years, she is getting backlash for her performances and her dad is (wrongly) supporting her in everything she does. As much as I hate to say it, she's a disaster waiting to happen, and I give it until the end of this year before she disappears for a while.
