After killing Cal State Fullerton Basketball Coach Monica Quan, her Fiancé and a Riverside officer Christopher Dorner's reign of terror has yet to end. A day after the LAPD re-opened Dorner’s case on his termination from the force.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced Sunday a 1$ million dollar reward has  been issued for information leading to Dorners capture and arrest. The mayor stressed that Dorner will not be tolerated and the police force will continue its manhunt to end Dorner’s mission to clear his name, he said:

“We will not tolerate anyone undermining the security, the tranquility of our neighborhoods and our communities," he stated. "We will not tolerate this reign of terror that has robbed us of the peace of mind that residents of Southern California deserve. We will not tolerate this murderer remaining at large...our confidence to bring him to justice is unshaken.”

The LAPD insist it will investigate multiple allegations made against the department by Dorner in his manifesto. However, the announcement has also come with hundreds of phone calls and no concrete leads. Once call  led officers to a sighting in Northridge and another found authorities surrounding Lowe’s Home Improvement Store in San Fernando Valley, CA.

As the search continues with Dorner at large, cases are mounting behind him. The DA of the Riverside Police Department announced Monday that it filed a murder charge against Dorner in his ambush of Michael Cain, a 27-year-old police offer, shot while parked with his trainee partner.  His death marked the third shooting in Dorner’s mission and the one that also help sparked the officer’s shift to Big Bear after his car was found abandoned and burned in the mountains.

Since its beginning the search has spread across Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside and Orange County with police increasing efforts to locate Dorner in Big Bear after the Riverside Shooting. Since then, the LAPD has scaled back their efforts of locating Dorner in Big Bear  after five days and multiple attempts to locate Dorner in the mountains turned up no additional evidence on his location.

This manhunt will not cease or slow down especially with the public now calling and involved in the manhunt. Yet, even with the reward and teams of police searching for Dorner many on social media are celebrating him.  Dorner has become a media sensation not only across major channels but also social media. Multiple Facebook pages are created in support of his efforts with thousands liking them since publishing.
