Police evacuated a home improvement store in Northridge, Calif., on Sunday after hearing of a possible sighting of ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner, according to ABC News.

After searching the Lowe's store, police told customers they could leave the building but would have to keep their cars in the parking lot.

The reported sighting came after Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced a $1-million reward for information leading to Dorner's capture.

LAPD spokesman Gus Villanueva couldn't say whether Dorner was in the Northridge area where the search happened.
