Ten Palestinian civilians in a two-story house were killed during an Israeli airstrike Sunday, ABC news reported, topping past incidences as the highest civilian death toll during five days of fighting.

The deadly attack targeted the home of the Daloo family in the Nasser neighborhood of Gaza City. Victims included five women and four small children, said health official Ashraf al-Kidra. Medics continue to search through rubble for people trapped underneath.

The strike brings the death toll of Palestinians killed in the Israeli attacks to 66, including 32 civilians, ABC reported. Three Israeli civilians were also killed. The tactic of striking family homes of suspected militant figures increases the risk of civilian casualties, with more than a dozen homes hit on Sunday.

As the violence continues, talks began to surface of Arab leaders who support Egypt’s attempts to initiate a cease-fire. Despite these efforts, no truce has been met.
