Apple is no stranger when it comes to building up press events. Their last press conference was all about the iPhone 5 reveal with a few bits of information for a new iPad, and since the iPhone is already out, the iPad is next on the list.

So far the only information on the device is just speculation, but the iPad mini should have a 7.85-inch display with a price range between $199 and $299.

In order to build some hype for the event, Apple has sent out invitations to the press with the simple line: “We’ve got a little more to show you.” The last event was clearly meant to reveal the iPhone 5, but this invitation is seemingly more ambiguous. In addition to clarifying the iPad there could also be a new iPod, some addition to the iPhone, or any number of reveals that Apple has up their sleeve.

More information will be available when the actual press event happens on Tuesday, October 23.
