Swing States Favor Obama

The polls were conducted one week after the close of the Democratic National Convention. The polls are by NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist.
Other polls released around the same time, however, show a much closer race, reports CNN.
Romney campaign pollster Neil Newshouse also said that the race was still incredibly close.
"There's nothing in the post-DNC polling that's been released over the last few days to indicate that this is anything but an extremely tight race that Mitt is extremely well-positioned to win," Newhouse told CNN.
In order to win, Romney is attempting to recapture Indiana, North Carolina and Virginia, states that Obama won in 2008, but have traditionally voted Republican. He is also trying to win Florida and Ohio, states that George W. Bush won in 2004, but Obama won in 2008.
