Stuck in Los Angeles for spring break? Already dreading the obligatory post-break question, “So what did you do?”

Have no fear! Here are a couple of local and low-cost attractions that are sure to keep you entertained.

Go to a live taping of a show

Unsurprisngly, the City of Angels is also home to numerous TV show lots. Programs like "Dr. Phil," "Girl Meets World," "Young & Hungry" and "Mom" are filmed here in Los Angeles. Being a studio audience member takes watching TV while on vacation to a whole new level.

You can request free tickets here.

Hike the Hollywood sign

For those who are not the hiking type, there are paths of varying distances to the famous landmark ranging from three miles roundtrip to almost six and a half miles.

And honestly, how many people can say they've seen the Hollywood sign up close?

Attend a free yoga class

Yoga is a great way to relax, and saving money is a great way to lower anybody's stress levels.

The Sahaja Meditation Center offers free yoga every weekday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Tarzana.

Visit the Getty

When the awkward period of spring break hits when you start to miss school, get your educational fix in by checking out the many exhibits at the Getty Center, including "J.M.W. Turner: Painting Set Free" and "World War I: War of Images, Images of War."

Catch a show at the Bootleg Theatre

The Bootleg Theatre describes itself as "a year-round inclusive art space for original, boundary-defying live theater and performance born from the diverse cultural and artistic landscape of Los Angeles." Ticket prices vary based on the performance, but there are student discounts!

With these options in mind, you will definitely have something to respond with after spring break other than, "Nothing much, you?"
