According to Deadline, the network's pilot show will take place around the biggest oil discovery in American history that created an economic boom in North Dakota which far exceeded the economic prosperity experienced from the 1849 California Gold Rush. The show will chronicle a couple, Billy (Crawford) and Kelly, to the Bakken oil fields in search for fortune and a better life.
