Don’t let that winter chill keep you down by spicing up your winter wardrobe with a fun fur coat. From classic leopard print to patterns and bold colors, your winter coat will be anything but boring. Here are four must-try, fur coat trends that are sure to bring the heat and outlast the winter.

1. Color-Block

Color-blocking is everywhere, from tops to our favorite bags, but more recently, it has made its way to your favorite fuzzy outerwear. From rainbow, dip-dyed shag coats to a mix of winter whites, fur coats have come a long way from their neutral days. This Story Of Lola faux-fur coat showcases a crème bodice and color-blocked sleeves. The plush long-sleeves highlight the soft pink and purple hues that have been big in outwear this season. This coat can be paired with denim or leather pants.

2. Patterned

While many of us shy away from patterns when it comes to shopping for fur coats, classics like animal prints don’t have to be the only way to go. From heart-shaped prints to a classy, chevron look, patterned fur coats can bump a basic outfit up a notch. This Peekaboo vintage coat mixes in the bold winter colors of the moment—burgundy, emerald and cobalt—to create an offbeat pattern that will give any outfit a unique vibe. This one-of-a-kind coat features a shawl collar and oval button-detailing.

3. Animal Print

Leopard prints have always been the go-to when looking for a feisty fur coat. From Sex and The City to the L.A. streets, both classic and futuristic takes on the leopard-print coat have dominated, and will continue to dominate, winter wear. But don’t limit yourself to prints of the leopard variety. This winter, subtle zebra and tiger prints have made their way onto the fur coats of the season. If you’re still a leopard lover, you can mx it up with other colored leopard-print looks, from grey to pinks and the always chic black and white. You can bring this all-time favorite up to speed with these new takes on the look.

4. Jewel-Tone

Jewel tones are a must have this winter. From burgundy to emerald, colors that are likely to last into spring's hottest looks, the jewel tone fur coat is the perfect way to remain on trend and add a pop of color to spice up your winter neutrals. This cropped, emerald fur coat from Society Of Chic is perfect to throw on for a chilly night out. The cropped nature of the coat makes it fun and turns it into a transitional piece for spring that can be worn on those not-so-warm sunny spring days.
