SAG Awards 2015: Predictions
Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture
This is a tough call between “Birdman,” “Boyhood,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “The Imitation Game” and “The Theory of Everything.” The challenging filmography in “Birdman” with its long scenes might just take home the prize. Props to the cast.
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role
At the Golden Globes, we saw actor Michael Keaton succeed for his comeback in “Birdman.” He’s the No. 1 choice for taking home this award. If we see him get turned down for the pick, the award may go to Jake Gyllenhaal for playing creepy Louis Bloom in “Nightcrawler,” or Eddie Redmayne for playing Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything.”
Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role
This category is a pick between two actresses: Julianne Moore in “Still Alice” and Rosamund Pike in “Gone Girl.” The films are of different genres, as Moore’s performance may touch your heart while Pike’s performance is dark.

Outsatinding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role
Another though call. Edward Norton should get an award for “Birdman,” Mark Ruffalo shouldn’t be underlooked, but Ethan Hawke might just take home the award for “Boyhood.”
Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role
It’s another battle between “Boyhood” and “Birdman.” Patricia Arquette might just take the award home. Sorry Emma Stone.
Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series
“House of Cards” and “Homeland” are on the list of nominees. People can’t seem to get enough of binge watching “House of Cards,” and that includes hearing the ensemble for the drama series.
