"Best Song" is always an award people pay attention to during award season. Who will take home the first award for "Best Song" in a Motion Picture at the 72nd Golden Globes Awards?

All the nominees this year are solid. You have soultry goth queen Lana Del Rey with "Big Eyes," Lorde (who swept the Grammy Awards in 2014) with "Yellow Flicker Beat," among others.

While all the nominees deserve the win, it's nonetheless important to note that Sia's "Opportiunity" for "Annie" is impressive; not only because of the performance, lyrics, and production, but also because it features Quvenzhané Wallis (the 11 year old star of the film) belting out the ballad's chorus.

But, in the end, there is only one obvious winner-Lorde.The whimpering hmms that begin and end a bonafide song that could be used to prepare oneself for "The Hunger Games" will take home the win. Lorde can look forward to making space for yet another trophy.

The Nominees:

Lorde-"Yellow Flicker Beat"

Lana Del Rey-"Big Eyes"

Common and John Legend-"Glory"

Lenny Kaye and Patti Smith-"Mercy Is"

Sia, Greg Kurstin, Will Gluck-"Opportunity"
