Election 2014 Update: California Controller

Democratic candidate Betty T. Yee grabbed 52.8 percent of the vote in the race for California Controller, according to Secretary of State polls. She beat out Republican contender Ashley Swearengin by 276, 435 votes.

Yee received 2,650,965 votes. Swearengin was able to bring in 47.2 percent of the vote, totalling to 2,374,530.
