It's been 11 years since "Even Stevens" and more than three years have passed since "Hannah Montana," but Disney Channel still employs some very talented actors. Here are current Disney Channel stars with bright (pun intended) futures ahead of them.

Skai Jackson, “Jessie”

At only 12 years old, Jackson already has a lot of personality that could take her far in the entertainment industry. She began acting at the age of three, and it shows; her memorable character Zuri adds a lot of fun to each episode of "Jessie." Her sass is unmatched, a refreshing addition to the otherwise goofy script.

Rowan Blanchard & Sabrina Carpenter, “Girl Meets World”

The hit ‘90s show “Boy Meets World” left some big shoes to fill and left viewers skeptical of the spinoff. But Blanchard and Carpenter, the new lead duo reminiscent of Cory Matthews and Shawn Hunter, have really taken the show far. Each of the teenage girls has her own charm that really carries the comedy and, as most Disney stars do, these two sing. Blanchard and Carpenter are the voices of the show’s theme song, “Take On The World,” a tune that could spark a fan following all on its own.

Ross Lynch, “Austin & Ally”

Lynch has become the heartthrob of Disney Channel; the 18-year-old is a triple threat. He plays a singer on “Austin & Ally” with many hit songs, and Lynch himself is in a pop-rock group with his siblings. He also starred in “Teen Beach Movie” on Disney Channel. As if that weren’t enough, according to my younger, Disney-obsessed sister, Lynch “has surprisingly good dance moves.” At this rate, Lynch is on track to be the next Nick Jonas.

Olivia Holt, “I Didn’t Do It”

Holt entered into the Disney Channel world with a bang. Her characters are fun and relatable, and her acting style is similar to that of Demi Lovato in “Sonny With A Chance.” Though she’s relatively new to the acting world, Holt has already accumulated over a million followers on Instagram and has a fanbase that will surely carry her through a long career that has only just begun.

Debby Ryan, “Jessie”

This 21-year-old is a seasoned Disney professional. She’s been in more than one Disney Channel original movie and she worked her way up from a supporting role on “The Suite Life On Deck” to the lead role (and now a producing position) on “Jessie.” Her maturity adds a lot to the cast and Ryan would be great in a more serious role outside of Disney; she has a very edgy personal style that could cater to many different characters.

G. Hannelius, “Dog With A Blog”

Hannelius has become a familiar face for Disney Channel fans. Progressing from “Leo Little’s Big Show” and “Good Luck Charlie” to lead roles in “Den Brother” and “Dog With A Blog,” the 15-year-old has proven her versatility in acting. Hannelius’s emotional depth and knack for humor make for a skillset that is sure to take her far.

Dove Cameron, “Liv & Maddie”

The success of “The Parent Trap” and “The Lying Game” have proven that audiences respond well to twin characters played by the same actress. That being said, very few people can pull off playing such different roles. Cameron, however, effortlessly captures the opposite personalities of popular starlet Maddie and sporty Liv, and the show has already begun its second season.
