Patient Admitted To Washington D.C. Hospital With Ebola-Like Symptoms

Earlier this morning, a patient, who had just recently traveled to Nigeria, was admitted to the Howard University Hospital for Ebola-like symptoms.

The person is being tested and in stable condition. The medical team is working alongside the CDC to evaluate the patient for Ebola.

"In an abundance of caution, we have activated the appropriate infection control protocols, including isolating the patient," hospital spokesperson Kerry-Ann Hamilton said.
