After the controversy surrounding the Obamacare website over the past year, Obama administration officials say that the new healthcare site will be easier to use.

Andy Slavitt, the federal official who oversees online insurance marketplace operations said, “We’re doing all kinds of testing” to ensure “a successful consumer experience.”

Starting Nov. 9, the new site will be running and consumers can begin searching for plans in their area. However, parts of the site regarding payments to insurance companies will not be fully functional until early 2015.

Changes to the site include cutting down the number of pages a consumer has to click through and adding live demonstrations of the site. Officials hope that these changes will encourage more people to sign up for healthcare coverage through the government website.
