New 'Harry Potter' Spin-Off Project Will 'At Least Be A Trilogy,' Says Warner Bros. CEO

Good news for "Harry Potter" fans!

According to a tweet from Wall Street Journal reporter Ben Fritz, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara announced that the "Harry Potter" spin-off trilogy "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will be released in 2016, 2018, and 2020, with room for even more films set in the Hogwarts universe after the trilogy's completion.

In terms of frequency, this announcement puts the "Harry Potter" franchise on par with DC and Marvel's respective superhero movie franchises, some of which already have release dates scheduled for 2019 and later.
