Here comes the bride, like you've never seen her before. For Betsey Johnson's Spring 2015 runway reveal, the legendary designer brought on special guests and her signature eccentric aesthetic to pull off a great show.

The first look of the night walked out and instantly set the scene. A same-sex couple made their way down the runway in matching suits (White jacket, black pants) and holding a bouquet. Very dapper, indeed. When they turned back, their backs said "PRE" on one and "NUP" on the other. They embraced before making their way offstage.

The models alternated from singles to couples. The color scheme was mostly pink, sheer, white and black. In typical Betsey Johnson fashion, the models strutted - not walked - in their looks. They wore necklace accessories featuring big letters reading "PRENUP." From the wedding cake handbags to the contemporary ball gowns to the upbeat music, this runway was clearly themed as a wedding celebration.

The "brides" had their own styles. Some were preppy, some rocked Hollywood glam, some were punk rock, and others were just plain raunchy. Betsey Johnson does not fear a raunchy design… A couple of her models rocked sheer to barely any clothing on the runway. Who knew marriage could be such a freeing life change?

After the wedding reception comes the honeymoon. Once the wedding dresses had walked down the runway, the honeymoon outfits walked. Cotton balls covered the models' privates, but we can see as much as we need to.

Here, the color palette is reminiscent of easter: lavenders, whites and soft pinks. There's a few floral prints and graphic tops scattered around, too. The material used for each outfit is perfection, without a doubt. Every model is bouncing down the runway - with very heavy smokey eye - in her nighttime best. Some dashing male models also took their turn on the runway.

The last look of the evening was a transgender model in a white wedding outfit. The dress came up to reach just under the breast area… Oh, Betsey Johnson. The model threw the bouquet and strutted off.

The finale consisted of the designer's two granddaughters, the designer, and her "Dancing With The Stars" dance partner Tony Dovolani. She and Dovolani gave the crowd a taste of their dancing skills. She then cartwheeled with her granddaughter and the two finished in the splits. Hello, the lady is 72 years old and can do the splits like a teenager.

Her models came out and danced in cute themed tee shirts, and Johnson is carried away by her ending look.

All in all, a runway show composed of abstract ideas, bursts of color and plenty of fun. This was Betsey Johnson's aesthetic at work and we expect nothing less from her.
