The Minnesota Vikings released a statement that outlines their decision to place running back Adrian Peterson on the Exempt/Commissioner's List.

According to the Vikings owners speaking in the statement, the NFL made them aware of the option, and in deciding to place Peterson on that list, he will be forced to stay away from all team activities until all legal matters are resolved.
