Marchesa

The bohemian-inspired dresses featured in Marchesa’s Spring/Summer 2015 presentation—which were all perfect for the red carpet—were straight out of a whimsical fairytale. The collection included an off-the-shoulder gown embroidered with floral and vine detailing, a sheer frock made of iridescent gold lace and a frothy, pink creation with a plunging neckline that resembled cotton candy. Each look was so daring and different compared to anything else seen at London Fashion Week. But, of course, we wouldn’t expect anything less for the fashion house’s 10th anniversary celebration.

Burberry

Burberry is famous for its classic, checker-print pattern, but there was none of that this time around. In fact, there was nothing even similar to that. Chief creative officer Christopher Bailey created a collection that was ultra feminine, but he toughened up the pastel-colored, girly frocks with denim to achieve the perfect balance between hard and soft. Model Jourdan Dunn wore a light pink, ruffled dress with a purple jacket, which summed up the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2015 presentation.

Ong Oaj Pairam’s collection perfectly channeled the summer season that we’re currently in the process of leaving behind. Long strapless gowns, asymmetrical dresses and jumpsuits were infused with sheer metallic details and dazzling colors. The stunning outfits shined on the catwalk because of the unexpected silhouettes and the seamless combination of neutral and vivid tones.

House Of Holland

It was a blast from the past as Henry Holland took us back to the 70s with his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The runway was bursting with bright, retro flower patterns, fringed jackets and matching suits. The vibe was carefree, young and fun with a touch of glam as Holland mixed in metallic leather miniskirts and sunglasses.

Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood often doesn’t stray too far from her signature form-fitting silhouettes because she knows what works. And, her Spring/Summer 2015 presentation featured her usual styles that accentuate womanly curves. Bustiers, draped dresses, suit jackets and breezy shorts commanded the catwalk as the models marched the runway in Halloween-inspired hair and makeup.

Matthew Williamson

As we slowly move toward fall, Matthew Williamson made us yearn for the beginning of summer once more with his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The designer debuted a colorful, lust-worthy presentation with exotic flower prints and light, billowy maxi dresses in sunset hues of orange, pink and purple. While exceptionally beautiful, Williamson’s designs induced some major summertime sadness.
