1. It’s official: Mindy and Danny are finally together.
Season two’s finale ended with Mindy and Danny hooking up at the top of the empire state building. The first episode of season three is titled, “We’re a Couple Now, Haters!” Kaling originally posted the title on Instagram as “We’re A Couple Now, Bitches,” but I suppose that FOX decided to take away some of the fun. Regardless, it’s safe to say that this season will be all about Mindy and Danny’s relationship. For Mindy Project fans, this is the moment you’ve spent two years waiting for.

3. Chris Messina
If you didn’t already know, Chris Messina plays the beloved role of Danny in the show. And he is not your average TV actor--“Argo” and “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” are just two of the many award winning films that Messina has had roles in. He is also not bad on the eyes: “Chris Messina is the most in-touch-with-his-body person of all time, and all he does is make you feel beautiful and confident,” Mindy Kaling told Time. Swoon.
4. Mindy Kaling is live tweeting the event.
Kaling tweeted earlier today that she’d be live tweeting tonight during the premiere. “Warning: I’m chatty as hell,” she said. Get ready to see the hashtag #MindyPremiere all over Twitter.

6. Morgan
Morgan Tookers, played by actor and comedian Ike Barinholtz, is the male nurse at the doctor’s office where the show takes place. Just about everything that comes out of Morgan’s mouth is absolutely crazy; you can’t help but laugh at his antics. As if Morgan’s life could get more interesting (after all, he is a former inmate), his cousin may pay the office a visit this season. To make things even cooler, Ike Barinholtz is actually a writer and producer on the show as well, further proving his comedic talent.
7. Mindy Kaling is a rockstar.
As the creator, writer and producer of “The Mindy Project,” Mindy Kaling runs this show. If you stalk her social media pages, you’ll see the incredible amount of time and energy it takes to create a TV show. “The Mindy Project” is hilarious and has truly evolved to become one of the best comedies on TV (Snubbed at the Emmys, but fantastic regardless). For aspiring writers and TV producers, Mindy Kaling is one to keep your eyes on.
Season three of “The Mindy Project” premieres tonight at 9:30 PM on FOX. Don’t forget.
