FOX’s hit show “The Mindy Project” returns Tuesday night, giving most fans what they’ve waited two seasons for: Danny and Mindy are finally together.

As shown in the sneak peak videos released by FOX, the first episode, appropriately titled “We’re a Couple Now, Haters!” features Mindy finding a pink thong with "Diamond" written on it in rhinestones in Danny's apartment, and Mindy telling the entire office that Danny is "good with his mouth," followed by Peter asking Danny for guidance on the subject.

Though the third season will only have 13 episodes, Danny, Mindy and the rest of Shulman & Associates appear to be back and better than ever. In fact, fans have been using the hashtag "#FullSeasonForMindy," in hopes of extending the season, which has already teased all the drama, comedy and guests stars fans have come to expect.

This season, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” creator Shonda Rhimes will guest star, making her on-screen debut as a “beer pong expert.”

According to Beth Grant, who plays Beverly on the show, Rhimes is “the reigning beer pong champion at Dartmouth,” where both Kaling and Rhimes attended school.

Niecy Nash (“Reno 911!”) will guest star as Dr. Jean Fishman, the new head of Shulman & Associates’ admitting hospital, as well as Mindy’s newest rival.

When Kaling went on the Today Show last week to promote the new season, she also teased tension between her character and Danny’s mother, who will be played by Rhea Perlman. Kaling said that Danny’s mom will hate Mindy, creating a “fun conflict on the show.”

Other guest stars will include Allison Tolman (“Fargo”), who will go on a blind date with Peter, and Rob McElhenny (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), who will play Morgan’s cousin.
