House Speaker John Boehner intends to sue President Barack Obama over his usage of executive orders, reports CNN.

“I believe the president is not faithfully executing the laws of our country, and on behalf of the institution and our Constitution, standing up and fighting for this is in the best long-term interest of the Congress,” said Boehner.

Boehner would not provide details on which specific executive orders he will challenge, but did plan to introduce legislation in July, enabling the House General Counsel to effectively sue Obama’s administration.

In recent history, Republican politicians protested executive orders regarding illegal immigration, the Affordable Care Act, minimum wages and LGBT rights.

If the lawsuit goes ahead as planned, it will go on longer than Obama’s remaining time in office.

“I make of it as subterfuge. They're doing nothing here. So they have to give some aura of activity. The Republican caucus needs an adult in that room,” said House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi, you are correct.
