At Stagecoach Country Music Festival 2013, two Neon Tommy staff reporters began a game. For 20 minutes over their lunch break, they would count them number of concert-goers wearing denim shorts, cowboy boots, and wide-brimmed hats. They gave up after they reached fifty.

Country fashion, while iconic, can get a little repetitive. Though the genre made bolo ties and red dirt fashionable, there are definitely ways to mix it up. Inspired by the headliners' song lyrics, we created four brand new looks. While each shows off characteristically country roots, a pop of innovation makes them all your own.

"Jack Daniels" - Eric Church

Forget Jack Daniels, in thigh-high nylons and suede fringe, you will be every man's kryptonite. From old Western movies to the stars on stage, suede fringed jackets have long been a country music staple.

Neon Tommy fell in love with this $1,000 piece from Free People. If you are looking for something a little more wallet-friendly, try Ebay or a local vintage store. Sam Edelman Sidney booties keep the fringe theme consistent all the way down to your toes. Order in the color Whiskey, of course.

Sheer madness (Polyvore @Allison61)

"Welcome to the Farm" - Luke Bryan

This look is hot enough to make Luke Bryan shake it for YOU. A white crotchet mini dress by Jen's Pirate Booty is perfect for skipping through the cornfields (or for having Luke Bryan chase you through a corn field). Mjus takes a biker twist on classic cowboy boots. To match, keep all accessories green like the harvest, with a pile of rings in jewel tones and deep turquoise. Wear your roots proudly with bull icons on this beautiful hand-carved ring by Spell and zodiac necklace by Monserat de Lucca.

Because Luke likes his girls without an ounce of makeup on, we chose these Ray-ban sunglasses to cover up tired eyes and Maybelline BB Cream to look natural while fending off the sun.

FLAGALINE (Polyvore @Allison61)
FLAGALINE (Polyvore @Allison61)
"You're Country" - Florida Georgia Line

Though country music has long been associated with American families, American values, and American flags, you don't have to look like a walking Fourth of July to show your pride. Ralph Lauren, the king of American cool, created a light-wash chambray button down with a peek of pride at the collar. Make your outfit look cohesive with American flag printed foldover or biker boots. With a print this star-spangled, you will want to keep the rest of your outfit toned down. A white lace skirt gives freedom to dance. A thick leather belt worn at the waist shows off a feminine figure.

Hunter Hayes (Polyvore @Allison61)

"Storm Warning" - Hunter Hayes

Roll in from the West in THIS summer sun dress, and you will be hotter than the heat in July. The girl the Hunter Hayes describes in "Storm Warning" is a human tornado. She is carefree, fun-loving, and knocks down everything in her path. Make this brazen beauty come to life in a white summer sun dress by the festival style veterans at Spell & The Gypsy Collective. A denim vest and boots that cross between biker and bull rider add a take-no-names air to a girly focus piece. Brass accessories further ground the look.

For wind blown hair, try Redken Signature Look Wind Blown 05 Finishing Spray. For "red lips like a flame," try Mac in Russian Red
