A member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the University of Southern Mississippi has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a fellow student on Sunday.

The incident was reported at 1:30am on Sunday morning when a fight call was dispatched to local authorities. According to Detective Captain Rusty Keyes, the stabbing was the result of an argument that spiraled out of control on the front porch of the SAE house. The victim remains unidentified and the weapon used has still yet to be determined. Keyes states that it was not, in fact a knife.
