Multiple Shootings In L.A. Monday Night
A police officer was shot at seven times at the front desk of the Mid-City Wilshire Division, after a man entered the station and opened fire. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the police officer was not wearing a bullet proof vest despite earlier claims, and took a bullet through his left arm. He was able to hit the suspect four times.

The LA Times is reporting that the suspect had a brief exchange around 8:30 p.m. with two officers at the front desk before opening fire. He used a handgun, and had a rifle and ammunition stored in his car. The suspect is in critical condition, and the officer is good condition at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center.
There were 35 people in an adjacent room holding a community meeting at the Wilshire station, and the officer has been credited with preventing more injuries.
In West Hollywood, one person was fatally shot and three others were injured after the LAPD responded to reports of assault with a deadly weapon at 939 Palm Avenue around 9:30 p.m. According to the LA Times, two men lunged at the police officers as they neared the building. The deputies shot and killed a 24-year-old man, but did not injure the other.

Inside the apartment building, the officers then broke up an argument between two other men. The two men inside, and the non-injured man outside had all been stabbed, and a large knife was found in the apartment. The three men are in stable condition.
Additionally, @LAScanner is reporting that shots were fired last night in Reseda, near Sherman Way and Etiwanda Avenue. No injuries were reported. There was also a shooting in Inglewood, with reports of a victim down, at Hyde Park and Market Street. Details are forthcoming.
