Hours after an LAPD office was injured in a shoot out in Mid City, L.A. officers responded to an apartment complex at 939 Palm Avenue at 9:31 p.m.

A Los Angeles Sheriff's deputy was involved in the shooting, according to the LAFD. But no deputies were injured.

Witnesses reported seeing at least three ambulances rushing towards Cedars Sinai Medical Hospital from the scene.
