Ol’ Cap is back and he’s not just busting heads – he’s breaking records.

“The Winter Soldier,” the second movie in the “Captain America” series and the billionth in the Marvel “Avengers” saga, raked in $37 million Friday, according to Variety.

It broke records for the daily domestic box office, and is on track to blow its first movie, “Captain America,” right out of the water.

It also broke the record for the month of April as the top grossing film, beating out “Fast Five” as the previous record holder with $86 million.

It has already made $300 million worldwide, according to Forbes.

This gives leading man Chris Evans a reason to smile. God bless America.
