The numbers in January were not the best they could be. But the Labor Department revised January's numbers from 113,00 to 129,000. And December's numbers were revised as well. There were 84,000 jobs in December, not 75,000.

On the not so bright side, the unemployment rate rose to 6.7 percent in February, according to The Daily Beast. The rise was not huge, compared to January's 6.6 percent.

Economists were expecting an increase of about 152,000 jobs in February, according to The Wall Street Journal. The slow growth at the end of 2013 made February's numbers all the better.
