After a controversial interview with Rolling Stone, Drake is done giving interviews to magazines because “the press is evil.”

In a series of tweets this morning, the rapper voiced his displeasure with Rolling Stone and the interview, culminating in an announcement that he’s through with magazine interviews. “I just want to give my music to the people,” he wrote.  “That's the only way my message gets across accurately.”

Drake’s interview made headlines when an excerpt posted on the magazine’s website showed the rapper saying Macklemore’s post-Grammys apology to Kendrick Lamar was “wack as f--k.” Scans of the full interview have leaked ahead of the issue’s release this Friday and show that he also criticized the Kanye West album “Yeezus,” calling the lyrics “questionable.”

In one of the tweets
, the rapper denied making the “Yeezus” comments, saying “I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone.” It’s unclear if he’s claiming the comments were off-the-record or made up entirely and the magazine has yet to respond.

He also took issue with the magazine replacing him on the issue’s cover with Philip Seymour Hoffman at the last minute.
