Kristen Bell is back as private investigator, Veronica Mars in a new movie hitting theaters on March 14.

The movie is titled “Veronica Mars” after the 2004-07 television show on which it is based, and features all the characters we knew when the series was cancelled just short of four seasons.

Veronica visits Neptune, Calif. for her high school reunion 10 years after she had seen the usual crew. The movie trailer shows Veronica Mars as a “big shot” lawyer living in The Big Apple with her boyfriend Piz.

She gets a call from ex-boyfriend, Logan, who needs her Nancy Drew skills to prove he is innocent from killing his girlfriend.

Director Rob Thomas is back for directing and writing the movie. Bringing back the old memories from the show (which was cancelled when people were hooked) leaves the question of “why must all good things come to an end?” Was it in fact good enough to bring back to the big screen?

Well, for those who were hooked, this is the chance to see the Veronica, Piz and Logan love triangle continue. The plot (as the trailer shows) looks interesting enough, but hopefully won’t lead to disappointment. Perhaps the ending will make us wish that the show still existed, even though it is still on some TV channels, and unfortunately not available instantly on Netflix.

The trailer shows some familiar faces other than the usual cast, like Jamie Lee Curtis, who co-starred with Kristen Bell in the movie “You Again.”

The project became a success after being funded $5.7 million on Kickstarter. So, ladies and gentleman, you asked to bring “Veronica Mars” back and bigger than ever and here it is.
