So the State of the Union happened, and while President Obama covered a lot of ground, he didn't give a lot of details. Most importantly, the president left out some big topics that our news team felt left glaring holes in the speech.

Many people felt the president's speech was direct, unapologetic and uplifting. Others felt he avoided talking about America's debt and the Middle East, and called his speech "hollow" and "safe."
