LAX Shooter Pleads Not Guilty
Ciancia has been charged with 11 federal counts, including murder and attempted murder, for storming LAX's Terminal 3 on November 1st with a semi-automatic rifle and killing TSA officer Gerardo Hernandez and wounding two TSA officers and one passenger.
He could face life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.

Ciancia's shooting spree ended when police shot and wounded him. He has been recovering at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, where Thursday's hearing also took place, after being released from the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center last month.
Ciancia is being held without bond, with U.S. Magistrate Judge David Bristow calling him a "danger to the community" and a "potential flight risk." He is expected back in a LA federal court on January 27th, with a trial beginning as soon as February 11th.
