Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Katherine Main says at least 10 fans were transported to the hospital that night, five were transported during the game and the other five were transferred after the game. According to NBC 4 News, one person suffered from a broken ankle while another one was hurt after falling down. It is unclear how the rest of the fans were injured.

"They normally control it so people don’t get onto the field, but this time I think there was just so much excitement they let the people go," USC fan Joe Sullivan told NBC 4 News.

Fans stormed the field after the Trojans’ last minute field goal with only 19 seconds on the clock. USC beat Stanford, 20-17.
