Who would have thought someone would buy a pair of tighty whities for over $9,000?

The Emmy Award-winning drama "Breaking Bad" is certainly having a ripple effect, and fans had the opportunity to let the show live on... for a price. Screenbid and Sony Pictures came together to sell props from the AMC series.

Starting at a bid of $250, Walter White's iconic briefs worn by Bryan Cranston in the show's pilot episode sold on Screenbid's online auction for $9,900 over a course of 10 days.

Hundreds of items from the "Breaking Bad" set were set for bid including Marie's Volkswagon. The highest bidding item was Walter White's inscribed copy of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" at $65,000. The copy features the inscription from Gale (David Costabile), "To my other favorite WW."

Other items that sold for high bids include Hector "Tio" Salamanca's bell used to kill Gustavo Fring ($26,750), one of the pink teddy bears ($23,250), and Walter White's red key fob from the final episode ($8,400).

For a shiny penny, the winning bidders of the auction now have a piece of the show to have in their home. Walter White's pair of underwear is currently on display at the Museum of Moving Image as a part of their "Breaking Bad" exhibit and will be shipped to its new owner after October 27th.
