The second episode of the third season of ABC's "Revenge" has the audience taken on some bizarre twists. To recap on last week's season premiere, click here. To recap on last season click here.

"Sin" begins with Victoria and Aidan on a yacht- a sexy scene which suggests a potentially sinful future bond. Aidan tells Victoria that Emily has had ulterior motives with Nolan in tow, and she seems to believe him.

Emily and Daniel are hanging out like two peas in a pod at her beach house. He says he's having dinner with Margaux later and hopes to help her run her magazine. Em swiftly makes a dinner reservation for three.

Charlotte is seemingly stronger than ever and babying her faux-father, Conrad, dutifully trying to prevent him from drinking his days away. Key question- why? Aside from being a self-serving egomaniac, he's not her biological father. And more importantly he's an asshole.

Nolan's back to having rendevous with gorgeous men, apparently, as we see a handsome conquest leaving his seaside residence. Emily shows up with her double infinity box containing a new target for revenge, Paul Whitley. Now a minister, Paul was allegedly in charge of enticing investors to Grayson Global. Emily believes Conrad used his powers to get Paul to sway everyone against her father.

A seemingly temporary character, Father Paul is now a man of the church! Father Paul says he switched from corporate life at Grayson Global to the church because his experiences with the Graysons "shook his soul". Not surprisingly, he claims the Graysons weren't happy about his departure from the firm.

Jack and baby Carl are hanging out at the Stowaway. Charlotte arrives and is weirdly calm and distant given the loss of Amanda, Declan, and her unborn baby. The 6 months in Europe certainly seem to have changed her.

"Revenge" Season Three: Top Ten Reasons To Watch

Father Paul shows up at Grayson Manor to the horror of Victoria. She is VERY unhappy to see him. Conrad says Father Paul had previously been "adequately compensated for his silence", implying that he should still be staying away. Father Paul suggests that Conrad's Huntington's diagnosis is God's way of urging Conrad to seek repentance. Conrad assures him his diagnosis is genetic and continues to swill daytime spirits in his skin-tight polo shirt.

"We may not always see eye-to-eye, but I'll always be here for you," pledges Father Paul.

Out at dinner, Margaux says if her father had his way she would be married and on the board of several charities by now, but is instead championing his magazine empire. Her comment comes across as a dig at Emily who is now an engaged society woman herself. It is an awkward dinner amongst the three of them. Marguax seems entirely untrustworthy.

Charlotte appears at the same restaurant lurking at the bar for a chance to confront Emily. Charlotte no longer trusts Emily and blames her for telling Victoria that Charlotte suspected her mother of having an affair.

Nolan. Is. Adorable. "It turns out blueberry muffins can calm even the most sociopathic heart," says Nolan while baking in an apron in his seaside home looking as handsome as ever! Nolan reveals research on Father Paul as a squeaky clean character, which upsets Emily. She insists her father was a better man.

Suit-clad, Conrad is making his way around Grayson manor looking for paintings to sell. Keep in mind, having lost his political pathway, he is now sniffing for something to do with himself and ways to fund their lavish lifestyle. "Un-hand my painting this instance!" Victoria demands of Conrad.

Emily shows up at the door with the muffins, and is confronted by Victoria who's pissed about Father Paul afficiating the wedding. Emily uses the occasion to remind Victoria that she knows about Victoria's secret son Patrick.

Emily and Jack meet in a park over a pen of Golden Retriever puppies. Jack mentions Charlotte, reminding Em that Charlotte is her sister, and that Emily is the cause of the majority of her pain. "When exactly did punishing the guilty become more important to you than helping the innocent?" asks Jack.

In an empty apartment, Emily places a distressed anonymous call to Father Paul. Wearing a black hoodie, Emily bashes Father Paul over the head when he arrives to the apartment. It seems this is part of a larger plan to frame him.

In a Manhattan office, Margaux tells Daniel she needs him to find her investors. Daniel has expressed interest in helping her launch the US version of her father's magazine saying he's been wanting to flex his "creative" juices. Once Margaux finds him alone, she drops her clothes.

Nolan and Victoria interface at Nolan's new pad. Their outfits are boldly colorful and spot-on, "Allison In Wonderland" meets the Hamptons 2013! Victoria notices some of Nolan's recently acquired paintings- no doubt from her own collection.

Back at Grayson Manor, Charlotte is angsty as ever. She has no time for Emily and continues to act eerily close to her pseudo-father (didn't she hate him two episodes ago?). Victoria surprises this "family" dinner by bringing Patrick to the house! Conrad is laying the whiskey on thick, and Emily takes the chance to refill his glass and pour a liquid serum into it.

Drunkenly, Conrad reveals that when Patrick was 18 and came looking for his mother, a Grayson accomplice named Frank was sent to pay off Patrick to disappear. Patrick confirms that a person did threaten him but never paid him a cent. Conrad replies that it wasn't his idea to sic Frank on Patrick, but Victoria's! Victoria admits her behavior, and says she will "go to her grave trying to atone her sins against him". Conrad feeling the poison in his glass starts to collapse. Charlotte comes to his defenses, chastising Victoria and telling Patrick to take a hike.

Emily encourages Daniel to take the magazine job in the city, saying that she'll hold things down in the Hamptons. Back in Manhattan, Margaux apologizes to Daniel for coming onto him. He says he'll take the job with her magazine, as long as he can base out of Montauk to be near his family and Emily.

Charlotte is attempting to care for her nephew Carl saying she'd tried with no success to feed him, play with him and "show him the wedding video". (Side note: Do babies enjoy wedding videos?) She tells Jack the universe is trying to pay her back for Declan's death. Jack stops her from running off saying there's something she needs to know. Over at the South Fork Inn Emily pays a visit to Patrick under the guise of friendship, though he turns her away.

At Nolan's amazing seaside pad, he pulls out a notebook from Emily's father, reading her a passage about the importance of forgiveness. She shuts him down saying she'll proceed alone.

Charlotte shows up to confront Conrad, accusing him of knowing about the bomb that killed Declan. She tells him he deserves to die "miserable and alone". Apparently this is the information Jack shared with her.

As Father Paul presides over a church congregation, Emily drops an envelope addressed to him into the donation bowl. After the service, he tells Emily that the mistakes he made with the Graysons are the reason he changed his life. Walking Em around the soup kitchen where he serves the homeless, Father Paul seems to stir emotion within the Revenge-tress. As she excuses herself, she sees another priest hand Father Paul the envelope she placed in the collection bowl. Father Paul looks at the contents of the envelope horrified and Em looks on with guilt in her eyes. Alone in the sanctuary later, Emily lights a candle and apologizes aloud to her father. Conrad appears in the church and Em tells him that Father Paul has left St. Francis.

In a private meeting with Aidan, Victoria says Nolan is clearly hiding something about his new house and possessions. Aidan shows her the deed to Nolan's house bearing Emily's name. In exchange for this information, he asks for something in exchange from Victoria.

Emily appears at Nolan's house, admitting he was right and that she's gone too far and hopes to fix things. Her next goal? To get Conrad to admit everything.

For bearing the title "Sin", this second episode of ABC's third season of "Revenge" was less than scandalous. Perhaps the title alludes to upcoming plot twists? We can only hope, because this episode was tame.

Watch a preview clip of next week's episode below. Looks like Aidan and Victoria are formally teaming up. Stay tuned...
