"Revenge" is back! This season premiere was filled with glamour, deception and desire. To get caught up on the season two finale, click here.

Two minutes into season three's premiere episode entitled "Fear", Emily is shot. The artistic scene begins with Emily apologizing before being hit by bullets and falling bloody and gowned into the water. When will we see the reasoning behind this dramatic incident? Likely the end of the season, so get excited for a whirlwind.

"Fear" continues with a flashback to two months earlier - this early summer backdrop is the setting for the episode. Daniel and Emily are lounging and kissing poolside in NYC and we learn they haven’t heard from Victoria for 6 months.

Lady Grayson is seen on a horse farm with a beautiful young man. She says she’s been spending 6 months with him, wanting to keep him to herself. This gorgeous young man turns out to be her son Patrick!

Emily is hosting a Memorial Day party in the Hamptons because Victoria has been MIA and Conrad wants to unveil his official portrait. Emily is being more of a Grayson by taking on this role. She and Daniel have been the only ones around Conrad while Victoria and Charlotte have been away.

Charlotte appears on the scene looking like a mature and sleekly-styled woman. Her style is almost unrecognizable! In conversation, Victoria mentions that Charlotte lost her baby. Apparently she was in Europe during this interim period. Charlotte has also graduated and spent the past few months in Europe. Clearly she has been through a lot and seems to have matured as a result.

Outside of prison gates, Emily busts Nolan out of jail. “It only took ten years to return the favor,” she says. “I was kind of hoping you’d have to repay this one never,” replies Nolan, who is now a free man.

Emily’s trying to put-off setting a wedding date, and meanwhile Norcorp has fallen into the toilet. Nolan promises to stand by Emily’s side until everyone who has betrayed either one of them has been revenged upon. Nolan is amazing, as per usual. He and Ems' friendship is as strong as ever.

Em bought her bestie-in-crime a house, because she's owed it to him it for awhile and money is no object. Nolan's new seaside house is amazing! (And evidence this Hamptons'-based show is very much shot in California). She swears that if this Memorial Day is up to her standards, it will be the last one the Graysons ever experience.

Conrad is disgusting as always. He believes he is destined to “higher offices”. He anticipates being president one day, because he’s an unabashed narcissist.

Emily shows up at the Stowaway unsuccessfully looking for Jack. On the dank, fishy dock, Ashley appears out of nowhere adorned in a little black dress and leather, studded clutch (normal). Back in her evil standing, Ashley blackmails Emily into introducing her to “men of standing”.

Emily and Victoria have a private conversation at Grayson Manor, and Emily asks Victoria about Patrick. “He’s changed my heart,” Victoria says of her long-lost son. In exchange for keeping this secret, Emily gets Victoria to agree to attend the portrait unveiling the next day.

Daniel looks good. Very good. The hiatus has been good for all of the "Revenge" characters it seems, though Victoria's weight loss and evident botox is excessive.

Victoria and Conrad are as verbally and sadistically combative as ever. When Victoria refuses to partake in his political shenanigans, Conrad threatens to sell the house. “As of tomorrow, Grayson Manor is on the market!” he decries.

Convinced Patrick is her mother's young lover, Charlotte bursts into his hotel room. After discovering that Patrick is Victoria’s son, and not her lover, Charlotte warns him that Victoria’s love is lethal. If Victoria doesn’t ruin him, Charlotte pledges to.

Emily meets with Jack at the Stowaway. He forgives her for not telling him about her true identity- comparing her allegiance to her father with a bond he hopes his son Carl will one day feel for him. They share a very passionate kiss, after which Jack declares he simply doesn't feel romantically toward Emily. He asks her to leave he and Carl alone.

The relationship between Patrick and his mother comes off as creepy and incestuous. Victoria’s expectations of him are way beyond normal bonds of mother-son love. She attempts to guilt him not to "abandon" her by leaving the Hamptons. It's unclear where he's going, but if the city he's referring to is NYC he won't be very far.

At the Memorial Day party, the Graysons are set to unveil a new portrait of Conrad. At the party we are introduced to Margaux. She has moved over from France to launch the American version of one of her father's publications- a magazine Emily claims to love. Margaux clearly has a romantic interest in Daniel. She sneaks up behind Daniel by covering his eyes. Margaux's a saucy little number.

Never wanting to let a party get dull, the unflappable Nolan balloons into the crowd and rips off his air jacket to reveal a white suit- perfection. Surrounded by secret service, he is lucky he wasn't shot! Emily, who is hosting the Memorial Day soiree suggests Conrad gives his speech and unveil the portrait, handing him a bottle of water, which he drinks. After stepping up to the podium, Conrad becomes short of breath and soon passes out. It’s apparent that Emily poisoned him.

As a result of being admitted into the hospital, it is discovered that he has a life-threatening neurological condition called Huntington's Disease. (We later learn Emily rigged these results).

Once that life-changing revelation sets in, it becomes clear that Conrad’s uber-secret diagnosis has somehow been leaked to the press, ruining his hances of political domination. Emily tells Victoria that Ashley was the one who sold the story to the media.

Jack confronts Emily about Conrad's public collapse, accusing her of doing something to him. Emily confesses to him that she did poison Conrad, stating that he never deserved to be Governor in the first place. Jack threatens Emily to finish what she has to do by the end of the summer or he will tell everyone her truth.

On a private landing strip, Victoria and Emily have a coordinated conversation with Ashley. Alongside a waiting jet, the two blackmail her into getting on the plane and leaving forever. “You two are evil,” Ashley says.

“What we are, like it or not, is family,” replies Victoria. Amazing. When exactly Victoria and Emily became "friends forever"? No one knows, but it seems Victoria’s turning over a new leaf.

With Conrad’s inevitable death looming, Daniel says he wants to marry Emily as soon as possible and Emily agrees. She chooses August 8th as their wedding date- (double infinity!).

Emily confides in Nolan telling him Jack gave her an ultimatum. “What are you going to do?” asked Nolan.

“Have the wedding of the century.” Emily replies.

Flashing to Grayson Manor, Victoria is surprised by an unexpected visitor- Aiden! His declaration is more shocking than his appearance. He tells Victoria he's there to help her ruin Emily!
