The California Highway Patrol (CHP) recorded a total of 404 car accidents on Oct. 4, according to the LA Times. Crashes occured at an increased rate because, for the first time in nearly six months, it rained in Los Angeles.

While the CHP has issued a guide to motorists for dealing with issues on the road, Neon Tommy suggests that Angelenos consult this scientific video before attempting to survive in situations featuring such drastic storm patterns.
