ABC Family's "Switched At Birth" has announced a new addition to its cast, "Breaking Bad"'s very own R.J. Mitte.

After wrapping up his time on the Emmy Award-winning drama "Breaking Bad," Mitte was cast in a recurring role for the ABC Family drama's third season.

Mitte will play Campbell, a pre-med college student paralyzed from a snowboarding accident who works at the free clinic with Daphne (Katie Leclerc), according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The series creator Lizzy Weiss announced the newest casting decision Thursday morning on Twitter, saying "We are thrilled to have him."

"Switched At Birth" made a smart decision in bringing Mitte onto the set. For Mitte, the role of Campbell might be a little lighter than his role in "Breaking Bad." It will be interesting to see how his take on the new role will differ from his time on "Breaking Bad."

Mitte made his big break with his role as Walter White, Jr., also known as Flynn on "Breaking Bad." His character has cerebral palsy and is also very distant from his father. The critically-acclaimed drama drew in a monster number of 10.3 million viewers for its series finale on September 29th.
