Washington Navy Yard Shooter 'Experienced Problems'

As more information becomes available about the gunman that killed twelve people at the Washington Navy Yard, federal officials continue to search for a motive into the shooting.

According to federal authorities, Aaron Alexis was trying to get back into the Navy but had been “experiencing problems” with officials in the Navy as well as with his employer, a government contracting firm.

The Los Angeles Times reports one official saying that Alexis, who was shot and killed by police, went “to the VA to talk to them about mental-health issues. He was trying to get help.”
