A Chinese panda breeding center has released photos of its newest residents: fourteen newborn panda cubs.

The cubs were artificially bred at the Chengdu Breeding and Research Base in Sichuan province, and were born between July and September this year.

The largest cub weights 6.6 lbs and the smallest, born last, weights only 1.5 lbs.  Panda cubs are especially susceptible to disease, especially during the first ten days after birth.

Pandas are extremely endangered, with fewer than 1,600 in the wild and 300 in captivity.
