Egyptian rebel and conservative parties have met an interim constitutional decree, or political "roadmap," with disapproval

The decree, issued Monday by interim President Adly Mansour, declares Islam the official religion of Egypt and increases Presidential authority, according to Egypt's Ahram Online.

The Salafist Nour Party slammed the roadmap for having contributed to violent clashes in Cairo, where at least 51 people were killed and hundreds injured. A Nour Party spokesperson also described

Mansour as acting "with authoritarianism and bias towards a particular political current that does not enjoy the support of the Egyptian people."

Mansour named economist Hazem El-Beblawy the new Prime Minister on Tuesday.

Egyptian authorities are questioning more than 650 suspects in Monday's deadly protests.
