Early voting hits some snags, the anti-Prop. 30 campaign heads to the Supreme Court and the ongoing cleanup from Hurricane Sandy. Here are the stories to watch develop for Monday.

Early voting hit some early snags with hours-long lines and limited voting days but Democrats have made a strong showing in absentee results. Obama has secured leads in key swing states like Ohio, Colorado, Virginia, Iowa and New Hampshire. Meanwhile, Romney's tour of the other battleground states of Iowa, Colorado and Pennsylvania will charge through Monday night.

The Arizona non-profit behind an $11 million donation to the anti-Prop. 30 campaign have planned to take their fight to keep their donor records private all the way to the United States Supreme Court. The California Supreme Court had ordered Americans for Responsible Leadership to turn over its records by Sunday afternoon but attorneys for the group said such a disclosure would be logistically impossible.

Up to 40,000 New York City residents may need housing assistance as utility crews work to restore power and vital services to neighborhoods devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Around 86,000 households have already registered for $97 million of disaster assistance and more than 730,000 remained without power as of Sunday.
