In "Monday Morning Brew" and "Wednesday Night Hype," I will write a journal of my fantasy football team and my journey through a 12-team league. In "Wednesday Night Hype," I share my thoughts and predictions on the fantasy week ahead, as well as my lineup for the week. In "Monday Morning Brew," I reflect on the choices I made and how well (or terribly) they panned out.

My Starting Team for Week 11:

QB - Tom Brady
WR 1 - Reggie Wayne
WR 2 - Brandon Marshall
RB 1 - Jamaal Charles
RB 2 -Donald Brown
TE - Antonio Gates
W/R Flex - Jeremy Maclin
DEF: Tampa Bay

The Eagles are a mess right now. It's worse than I thought. I took a risk going after Maclin via trade this week, and it probably cost me a win this week. Now that LeSean Mccoy is out with a concussion, avoid all Eagles players like the plague. There isn't anyone startable on that roster. Avoid the Eagles defense as well. With an offense that bad, there is no way the defense can succeed. Learn from my mistake this week and remember some things going into the trade deadline:

1. Don't buy into the late season hype. Remember how you got to where you are. This is the time during the season where speculative trades are most enticing. This is also the time when said trades are most dangerous. I rolled the dice and traded Randall Cobb for Jeremy Maclin. I did this based on the chemistry between rookie Nick Foles and Maclin last week, and I thought it would carry over into this week's game. What I forgot was that Nick Foles is a rookie, and the Eagles have NO offensive line. At all. Don't buy the fools gold. Speaking of trades, it's time to start thinking about just sticking with what you've got. The buy low, sell high dynamics present during the early part of the season are coming to a close, and there really is little opportunity to get better via trade. You've worked hard all season crafting a team that can go all the way. Don't push the panic button right before the trade deadline.

2. Start the better player. If both players are equal, start the player on the better team. It seems like common sense, but every year there is alwys a team or two that get caught being too big for their briches and cost themselves wins. Matchups are still worth considering, but it's time to put your best team on the feild and see what they can do.

3. Empty the bench. Bye weeks are over, and your bench can't win you a championship. Considering trading away a few expendable bench players for an upgrade at Kicker or Defense. Remember to keep a few decent reserves just in case.

4. If you've got a top five defense, roll with them every week unless the matchup is really bad. If you don't have a top five defense, rotate out your defense based on the most favorable matchups.

Good luck on those late season runs!
