In "Monday Morning Brew" and "Wednesday Night Hype," I will write a journal of my fantasy football team and my journey through a 12-team league. In "Wednesday Night Hype," I share my thoughts and predictions on the fantasy week ahead, as well as my lineup for the week. In "Monday Morning Brew," I reflect on the choices I made and how well (or terribly) they panned out.

My Starting Team for Week 6:

Record:
4-2 (4 Game winning streak)

QB - Tom Brady
WR 1 - Reggie Wayne
WR 2 - Brandon Marshall
RB 1 - Alfred Morris
RB 2 - Darren McFadden
TE - Aaron Hernandez
W/R Flex - James Jones

Bench:
Antonio Gates
Jamaal Charles (RB, KC)
Davone Bess (WR, MIA)
Kenny Britt (WR, TN)
Donald Brown (RB, IND)
Randall Cobb (WR, GB)

Finally, validation. Finally, production. Finally, Antonio Gates. Antonio Gates' 23-point fantasy day was icing on the cake for me on Monday night, as I cruised to a 40 point victory over my opponent. This puts my win streak at 4 games, with each win being a blowout. I'm on a roll.

The two worst teams in the league, both with records of 1-5, play eachother this week. To add to the excitement, both teams have been hard at work trying to trade with each other. This is the time when desperation sets in for some fantasy owners.

Pro tip: Don't get too desperate and give away too much value in a trade just because you've had a bad start to the season. You need to always be in buy low, sell high mode. Buy low, sell high. Which brings me to my buy low candidate of the week: Marshawn Lynch. Marshawn had his lowest output of the season last week with only 6 fantasy points, and it doesn't get any easier this week when the Seahawks face the rugged 49ers defense Thursday night. If Lynch has another mediocre week, it's time to cook up a trade for him.

I've got James Jones in my starting lineup, but I'm hesitating a bit. He can't possibly get two TDs four weeks in a row, can he? Meanwhile, Randall Cobb had a solid day with more receptions and targets than Jones. Britt also had a nice fantasy day last week, and he can only get better from here. Plus, Britt is the number one guy when he's healthy, whereas Jones and Cobb are third or fourth options when Greg Jennings recovers from a groin injury. This is going to be a three-way race for my Flex spot, and it will probably go down to a gut feeling late Saturday night. For now, it's the TD machine: James Jones.
