The Frankenstorm of the century, a tight presidential race and the first arrest in the Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal. Here's a look at the stories to watch develop for Monday.

Hurricane Sandy is barrelling down on the mid-Atlantic region and mass evacuations have been called for much of the eastern seaboard. The first arrest in the Jimmy Savile BBC sex scandal was Gary Glitter, a 70's glam rock star who is accused of sleeping with schoolgirls in his dressing room. Glitter was arrested Sunday in connection with the investigation into Savile, the late BBC host who is accused of molesting hundreds of girls over a period of 40 years. Glitter was jailed for child sex offenses in Vietnam in 2006.
