LA Style Fashion Week Fall 2012 Kicks Off

LA Style Fashion Week, Fall 2012 has finally kicked off! Sunday evening, the fourteenth of October, a VIP opening reception was held at the Petite Ermitage Hotel. Guests sipped Ginseng-infused cocktails at the open bar while building excitement for the week to come.
Yesterday evening, the doors to the courtyard of the Vibiana opened at six pm for the media to mingle with fashion professionals and view the first collections. Celebrity guests, including the mayor, stared open-mouthed as Louis Verdad’s pieces graced the runway. Worn by both Madonna and Christina Aguilera, the designer’s Mexican-American denim collection inspired visions of the opulence of his homeland.
Dar Sara’s runway concluded the evening with a plethora of dresses. From exquisitely detailed wedding gowns to more wearable eveningwear, each piece revealed perfect craftsmanship while simultaneously reflecting the cultural and traditional trends influencing the modern woman.
This evening marks the introduction of Madisonpark Collective's latest line. Judging by last season's show, we expect detailed choreography performed by gorgeous models wearing avant-garde casualwear.
Stay tuned for Neon Tommy’s coverage of the Madisonpark Collective show tonight! @NeonTommy will be tweeting live beginning at 6 p.m. PST. View the video of last season's runway below, and check out our coverage of last season's Madisonpark Collective runway here.
