PHOTOS: Endeavour Inches Its Way Through Inglewood From LAX

The shuttle Endeavour crawled through Inglewood late Friday night from LAX toward its new permanent home at the California Science Center. Hundreds of onlookers shifted closer toward the retired space shuttle on each side of Manchester Boulevard, where it seemed to have taken a long rest after it was transferred over the 405 highway.
